For twenty years the Memorial Center has been providing a dignified venue for the exhibition of work by contemporary Israeli artists, including artists living in Kiryat Tivon.
The public has responded with pleasure and enthusiasm, providing the encouragement and recognition artists need and should receive.
The main purpose of the gallery is the exhibition of contemporary Israeli Art. Throughout the years, many well known artists exhibited their work in the center's Gallery, among them: Tzivi Geva, Avner Katz, Dalia Meiri, Avishay Ayal, Jennifer Bar-Lev and many more.
While the work of Israeli artists is exhibited in the gallery on the first floor, the second floor is devoted expressly to the exhibition of Kiryat Tivon artists. The second floor reception area, hallway and various multi-purpose public rooms display the work of our local artists.
In addition to its exhibitions, the gallery has designed educational activities for kindergartens. In these programs, children are encouraged to view the exhibitions in the gallery and devise their own artistic creations inspired by the work they see displayed.
In "Gallery Talks", artists are invited to meet with adults in a seminar forum to discuss their work and in particular the exhibitions on display in the gallery.
In "Gallery Tours", the Center organizes visits to galleries and museums throughout the country. These tours are guided by artists and the gallery curator.
